this musée, in the Marais, was once the home of Madame de Sévigné, a friend of Louis XIV. I'm fond of this woman because of the elegance and sheer beauty of her former home, but mostly because of the tender loving letters that she wrote to her married daughter.

ReplyDeleteWhat an exquisite post! Sadly I did not get to visit the Musee Carnavalet when I was in Paris even though I was staying in the Marais! Next time for sure!!

It looks fascinating and the type of museum I would like to visit. I shall put it in my notes for a future visit to Paris.

WE JUST CROSSED each other's paths!!!!!!!! Oh Dawne, you are toooooo kind. Through the struggle of wanting to write and not having TIME to write, I WRITE what is in my heart. I figured that the only way to produce is to BE. ÊTRE.
ReplyDeleteNancy you know, is Ruben's beautiful and talented sister. She is special to us and she is so right about that proverb. As I grow older, I am learning that BOLDNESS and bravery are what God wants us to have to shine. What a life, n'est-ce pas?
I HOPE YOU are well and that this weekend will bless your heart out!!!!! We have a three-day weekend, for Monday is President's Day! YOWSA!!!!!!!! I am creating today!!!
LOVE TO YOU, Anita
