Welcome to French at Heart, a photography blog with few words, but many pictures of a country I love, France. All of the photographs were taken by my husband, Dean Polis, and myself, Dawne, and edited in Adobe Photoshop. If you like what you see, I would be honored if you'd leave a comment. And if you would like to learn our Digital Photography secrets, and make photographs like these yourself, [ oh, yes, you can do it!] we would be happy to lead you on an image making adventure to France with us. 1. Hi Dawne,

Yes, we went out on the balcony to admire the Super moon.
Love your two photos, with the Eiffel tower and the sweet cow.

    Happy new week

  3. Dawne; I had a full day's rehearsal with one of our choral ensembles and after the 7hrs of singing (with a bursting head, hay fever is upon me like the pest!!!!!!!!!) we went to continue the Sunday for another two hours and some champagne with nibbles.... when we drove home we pointed out the magnificent moon to each other and in the meantime we learned that it was a very rare and absolutely perfect full moon!
But as you surely know it was also voting time in France and I think nobody had the courage to stand outside and look heavenwards after the general shamble of a 'win' situation which neither pleases the left nor the right because both of the candidates didn't really fit the bill. (Luckily) we have nothing to say as we don't vote in France, being foreigners... :)
Such lovely work! You're both geniuses - have now subscribed to your posts but must say that if I don't get a mail for each post I tend to forget about my feeds. I just haven't got the time to check them regularly.
    Let's keep in contact though!
    Love, Kiki

  8. Right near our beautiful Anita...
Chere Dawne, I love the whimsy of your Paris shot...and the moon with your sweet cow is stunning!
We face the opposite side, so I only get to see it after 10:00p.m. It was so beautiful last night, though...but the moon is always beautiful and mesmerizing to me.
Have a lovely day, sweet friend!
    Bises,
